Experience the rich heritage of our Kazak Rug, sized at 208 x 161 cm (6.82 x 5.28 ft).
Kazak rugs hail from the western Caucasus region, traditionally inhabited by Armenian and nomadic Kurdish tribes. These vibrant rugs are distinguished by bold, stylised floral patterns in rich reds, blues, greens, and yellows. Our Kazak collection features exceptional quality pieces crafted using natural dyes and hand-spun Ghazi wool.
The Kazak group’s largest and original district spans from Erivan in the Armenian Caucasus to Tiflis on the Georgian border, extending southeast to Karabagh. Within the Khanate of Kazak, both high-pile rugs from mountainous areas and low-pile rugs from valleys, villages, and settlements were produced, each boasting unique and easily identifiable characteristics.
